Fine & Rare, under New Executive Chef Bobby Will (formerly Jean Georges Restaurant Group, Saltaire Oyster Bar, Charlie Trotter) seeks a strong line cook to join the team.
Candidates applying for the position should be skilled hot line cooks (1-2+years experience in establishments such as ABC Kitchen, Cafe Boulud, Vaucluse, etc) Grill and Sauté station experience preferred. Cooks must work fast, organized, and be able to cook meats, fish, and vegetables properly under pressure. You should have strong knife skills, work clean, and have a desire to grow.
PM Cooks work 4pm-12am (8 Hour Shifts)
AM Cooks work 9am-4pm (7 Hour Shifts) Part Time for Morning Cooks Available.
In order to be considered for the position, Applicants must be flexible with schedules to work weekends, holidays, and cover shifts if someone calls out.
Our cuisine is Modern American, with a strong emphasis on seasonal menus that are sourced locally (when possible), and presented in fun, trendy fashion. Cooks will have 5 day/40 hour work weeks. Uniforms, Staff Meal, Paid Time Off/5 Days Paid Sick Time, Health Insurance after 30 days.
