Description

San Francisco Proper’s new Executive Chef is Jason Fox, former chef/owner of Michelin Star restaurant Commonwealth. Chef Jason Fox leads the hotel’s three unique dining outlets: Villon, Charmaine’s, and La Bande. From fine dining to elevated bar snacks, Chef Fox brings his extensive knowledge of progressive California cuisine to the property and draws on local ingredients and worldly flavors.

The Server is responsible for providing efficient service to all guests in accordance with hotel standards

 

Responsibilities

  • Full knowledge of all menus, products, ingredients and specials.
  • Ensures guests are greeted on a timely manner and orders are executed on a timely and efficient manner.
  • Offer quality service at all times
  • Remove soiled cutlery, dishes, linen and other items from tables as assigned
  • Monitor and maintain cleanliness of assigned tables
  • Assist in clean and resetting tables immediately after guest departs
  • Perform side work as assigned
  • Prepare service station for service
  • Maintain complete knowledge of table/seat/station numbers, room capacity, hours of operation and proper table set ups
  • Listen to, and promptly act to resolve, guest issues and requests
  • Achieve maximum customer satisfaction

 

Skills/Knowledge Required:

  • Must possess a positive attitude
  • Must be service oriented
  • Must be a team player
  • Knowledge of the practices within the Food & Beverage/Hospitality profession

 

Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to lift 25lbs
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time

 

Qualification Standards:

·         Education: High school graduate or equivalent education preferred

·         Experience:  Over 2 years previous experience in a similar position preferred

·         Licenses or Certificates: Serv Safe Preferred

·         Grooming: All associates must maintain a neat, and well groomed appearance (specific standards will be provided)
