Job Overview

The F&B Administrative Assistant supports the Food and Beverage team in all administrative functions.


Responsibilities:

  • Menu design and daily maintenance edits.  Working knowledge of InDesign required.   
  • Regular menu audits and maintenance of all guest facing online and internal platforms.
  • Maintenance of POS platform including daily edits, troubleshooting, and testing.
  • Maintenance of Square devices
  • Submission of marketing briefs for special programming and events.
  • Reservation platform management (Open Table) for all outlets
  • Timely responses to guest inquiries
  • Regular audits of Proper Hotel website to ensure accuracy.
  • Accountable for monthly events calendar that highlights programming.
  • Maintenance of To Go platforms including our retail store, Postmates, Tock.
  • Supporting check book maintenance, processing POs, ordering.
  • Regularly attend lineup with Front of House staff
  • Support training programs by gathering colleague attendance and confirming rosters.
  • Create and maintain training documents and SOPs for BOH and FOH.
  • Supporting receipt inquiries, chargebacks, and guest issues.
  • Various special projects related to Food and Beverage department
