San Francisco Proper Hotel is seeking candidates for Director of Finance.
The Director of Finance is responsible for all accounting and financial requirements for the Property, providing financial support, advice and expertise to the General Manager and hotel team, with the goal of maximizing profit and safeguarding hotel assets. The main responsibilities for this role are managing the accounting records and financial reports, providing effective controls, developing best practices for financial accounting and control procedures, supporting, advising and developing the finance department for Property. Director of Finance reports directly to both the General Manager and Corporate Director of Finance. Education B.A. Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or related field required.
Experience: Minimum 10 years of Hotel or Resort management Finance experience required. Previous controller or DOF experience also required.
