Overview:
As a member of the PUBLIC team, you are an ambassador of the brand. You are passionate about your role and always curious about how to make a guest’s experience memorable. Responsibilities:

− To be an ambassador for PUBLIC by meeting and exceeding the company core objectives and values.
− To be fully accountable for the people, product and profit within the hotel.
− To deliver excellence in customer service, remember that service matters most.
− To ensure the company culture is visible in all aspects of the business.
− Provide supplies to all cocktail servers.
− Polish and stock equipment for the banquet operation (silverware, linens & glassware).
− Set up, clear and clean tables before, during and after the event.
− Set up the tables with table top equipment per design/banquet event order
− Ensure that the guest tables and bus stations are maintained to our standards at all times and in a timely fashion.
− Promptly greet guests as they are seated and bring bread, butter and water to table.
− Remove used tableware between courses and provide tableware for next course.
− Clear tables after guests. Take tableware to dish room and place silverware, dishes, glassware, etc. in appropriate areas for washing.
− Promptly clean table tops, chairs and booths between seating. Check floor and tables are clean as required. Reset and arrange tabletop.
- Ensure event room/venue is completely clean at the end of the event, all linens, dirty glass/china/silver removed.
− Ensure that coffee is made and ready to be served.
− Maintain equipment par levels and reset bus stations at the end of the shift.
− Assist banquet servers and banquet bartenders as requested.
− Perform all opening and closing side duties, according to BEO specifications and as directed.
− Maintain a spotless, pristine work environment.
− Provide service to and is accountable for an assigned station.
− Ensure that all guests using the hotel facilities are completely satisfied and believe that they have received a tremendous value
− Handle all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodate special requests whenever possible. Respond to guests’ requests in an accurate and timely manner, creating a positive outcome that will result in a memorable experience.
− Develop and maintain complete knowledge of all banquet food and beverage menu items.
− Performs all sequence of service duties in adherence to all company standards.
− Ensure that company reporting systems are adhered to.
− Ensure all hotel and food & beverage policies, standards and local laws are followed.
− Performs accurate cash/credit handling and POS procedures in accordance with PUBLIC policies.
− Ensure sanitation fundamentals that are set forth by PUBLIC, local, state and federal regulations are in compliance.
− Behave at all times based on a customer responsive culture where exceptional customer service prevails.
− Participate in teamwork and assist other departments when needed.
− Protect the name of the hotel and PUBLIC and ensure that no actions are taken within, or in the name of, the hotel that could bring the PUBLIC into disrepute.
− Take action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of employees, hotel guests and property. Respond swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency of safety situations.
− Assure the proper handling of VIPs. Protect their privacy and confidentiality.
− Ensuring compliance to all hotel policies and procedures at all levels.
− All other responsibilities assigned by Management.
