Position: Public Arts House person

Department/Outlet: Public Arts


Overview:
As a member of the PUBLIC team, you are an ambassador of the brand. You are passionate about your role and always curious about how to make a guest’s experience memorable. Just imagine that you are the host of a party in your own home and each customer is your guest. Your words are sincere and you treat everyone with the utmost respect while being empathetic to their needs. You are naturally a social person and your welcoming expression makes each guest feel welcomed as if they are the only person in the room. It comes naturally to you…It’s in your DNA. Responsibilities:

− Ensure all FF&E is brought up, cleaned and set for each program or Event.
− Properly store FF&E in its proper home following every event.
− Maintain upkeep of equipment to ensure longest useable life.
− Maintain the cleanliness of both Public Arts
− Maintain the cleanliness of stairwells and coat check.
− Maintain cleanliness and order of storage areas on the Event floor as well as in storage areas
− Maintain the cleanliness of men’s and ladies’ restrooms room.
− Move furniture as required.
− Must be able to plan and organize efficiently and be able to work within the times specified
− Place bagged trash in designated dumpsters.
− Assist in cleaning vents
− Place soiled linen in bins for collection by the laundry company.
− Assist with cleaning and/or steaming of carpet and drapes as needed.
− Respond to and complete service orders in ALICE in a timely fashion.
− Ensure portable bars cleanliness levels are maintained.
− Use correct chemicals following specifications.
− Report any defects to Engineering.
− Report any stains, damage, problems to Housekeeping Management.
− Key and device sign out procedures followed. Earpiece worn always.
− All other responsibilities as assigned by Management.
− Collect recyclables from landings and put in appropriate bins located on the loading docks.
− Assist with the delivery of housekeeping supplies.
− Undertake regular internal inspections to ensure company’s assets are well maintained and protected.

Qualifications:

− A minimum of 1 year of Houseman experience.
− Any combination of education and experience that provides the required knowledge, skill ability.
− Ability to lift, push or pull 60 pounds.
