Description

The Restaurant Manager is responsible for consistently providing our guests with friendly and professional service and ensuring 100% guest satisfaction, managing a team of highly motivated front of house staff, opening the restaurant, training, upholding our standards and procedures and maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

Our ideal candidate will have exceptional knowledge of food & beverage, is creative and outgoing, posses a strong knowledge of food and beverage service, and an ability to train and inspire our team. We are looking for an individual with at least two years of restaurant management experience in a fast-paced, upscale environment. This person will be responsible and lead our team on a day to day basis. This person will be welcoming, articulate and enthusiastic with a passion for food, beverage and hospitality.


As Restaurant Manager you will be part of the driving force behind the offering; supporting the General Manager in planning, leading the team, developing the business and continuously delivering high service standards. We welcome creative ideas and require an energetic approach.


Scope of Responsibilities:

• Exceptional service standards and attention to detail
• Advance Financial knowledge
• Support in the development of a motivated and high performing team committed to delivering clear goals
• Manage the full operation of the venue in the General Manager absence
• Identify areas for growth and commercial opportunities
• Support the management of the restaurant budgets, payroll and all financial aspects of the restaurant
• Actively seek guest feedback, responding accurately and adapting as necessary
• Overall you will have bags of personality, enthusiasm and a can-do attitude
• Manage inventory and ordering of all linen supplies
• Responsible for optimizing profits by controlling labor costs on a daily basis.
• Manage china, glass, silver par levels and manage inventory
• Responsible for paper goods, to go items, and office supplies ordering.
• Responsible for printing and updating menus for all areas of the restaurant.
• Overseeing the front desk and the concierge program
• Responsible for training and developing new hourly team members.
• Responsible for maintaining POS System current to active menus
• Tracking forecast to budget on a daily basis
• Daily monitoring of reservations systems
• Daily active engagement with social media. This includes responding to guests’ feedback.
• Responsible for daily briefings with staff
• Onboarding new-hires in the appropriate fashion
• Abiding by full training program for all new hires
• Other duties assigned by management
