VACANCY: Assistant F&B manager

 PRIMARY OBJECTIVE OF POSITION:

Under the general guidance of the Food and Drinks Manager assess, evaluate and ensure that long-term and short-term goals of all Food & Drinks operations are met.  To direct and manage all food & drink activities to maximizes food & drinks revenue, profitability and quality goals by developing and executing marketing strategies, up-selling strategies, controlling costs, and by providing quality service and products to guests.  All work will be in line with the hotel’s guidelines and business plan, the division’s business plan, and the Radisson Hotel Group’s corporate guidelines and service concepts.

 Tasks and responsibilities:

·         Developing and monitoring the activities to maintain department’s budget under control.

·         Actively managing the department and the team to provide guests with friendly and efficient service that maximizes satisfaction and increases profitability.

·         Ensuring that all tasks are carried out in line with hotel and corporate guidelines.

·         Performs all service duties of the division Food & Drink

·         Coaches staff to achieve restaurant revenue goals

·         Reports sales of above mentioned items on a scheduled base to F&D manager

·         Uses supervisory skills, effective communication, and motivation to maximizes employee productivity and satisfaction

·         Assist the F&D Manager or replace him during absence for administrative tasks such as schedules, presences, organization, meetings, recruitment, follow up on project etc. all related to the Division Food & Drink

·         Performing consistently with the Responsible Business principles of operation.

·         Must be willing to do split shifts

·         Attends and manages briefings and daily Operations meetings and action issues as appropriate. 

·         Ensures that the Outlets premises are in neat and orderly condition and has sufficient stock  condition at all times.

·         Checks quality and standard of food, before it leaves the kitchen.

·         Maintains knowledge of bar & restaurant inventory and wine selection to respond properly to guest questions

·         Monitoring department's overall service, interaction with other departments, and team work daily, and taking action to improve.   

·         Achieves restaurant revenue goals by executing marketing and sales strategies as established in the business plan

·         Ensures that restaurant premises, FF&E, silver, glass, porcelain etc. is clean and in good working Order

·         Assists in stock takes and ensures COS is in line

Requirements:

·         EE candidate would be preferred

·         Own transport would be preferred

·         At least 2 -3 experience in similar position

·         Yes I can! attitude

·         Micros & Basic Opera software knowledge

·         Leadership abilities

·         Passionate about food and drink and delivering quality service.

·         Outgoing, Dynamic and Sales focused

·         Excellent communication skills - written and oral as well as interpersonal skills

·         High motivation and enthusiasm  with a Flexible and hands on approach
