Key Responsibilities of Spa Manager:

• Leads, directs and supervises spa team in creating an outstanding experience for the customer - ‘pampered to perfection’ so that customers are greeted in a professional, friendly, and timely manner,
• Provides consistent high standards of customer service by greeting and assisting customers, and excellent leadership skills—own and manage the department,
• Protects employees and customers by providing a safe and clean spa and leisure environment,
• Ensures all complaints are dealt with promptly and efficiently and in confidence, initiating corrective actions if required,
• Empowers all team members to deal with customer complaints and develops and maintains compensation guidelines for customer complaint handling,
• Ensures all emails, website and social media enquiries are responded to within eight hours of receipt, or less,
• Ensures all customer feedback (guest questionnaires, verbal comments, emails, etc) is used to inform,
• Changes in practice and provide staff training or corrective actions to ensure high standards are maintained,
• Guides business decisions by staying on top of Spa industry trends,
• Maintains a strong menu of services with both exceptional artistic and aesthetic value,
• Ensures the Spa is always staged for maximum buyer impact,
• Monitors appointments and bookings and highlight any problems or troughs in business to the Senior Manager so that marketing strategies can be implemented to boost bookings,
• Liaises with the Sales and Marketing Manager to promote all aspects of the spa facility,
• Liaises with other Heads of Department/Supervisors where necessary to ensure spa packages, bookings, functions, hen parties, etc run smoothly and meet the needs of the customer.
• Understands and operates by the departmental SOPs in place,
• Upholds all parts of the company brand standards reflecting the company culture and values,
• A team player with a positive can do attitude,
• Communicates with internal and external guests in a professional, friendly and courteous manner,
• Maximises customer satisfaction by promoting hotel services and facilities to guests,
• Works pro-actively to minimise complaints from guests

Requirements of A Spa Manager:

• The successful individual will have a high sense of attention to detail and a minimum of 5 years experience in a Spa Supervisory/Management role
• A proven track record in a similar role and to be able to demonstrate excellent standards and team member supervision
• A positive approach, excellent organisational skills, and a passion for producing high quality Guest Experiences
• Ensures all customers enquiries are dealt with promptly and efficiently
