 Job Description

 The Bar Manager oversees the bar staff and operations by making sure it’s clean, well organize and functioning efficiently. Their main duties include controlling the orders, staff duties and organization, complete functioning of the bar and storage, ensuring the bar’s inventory is well-stocked. Always willing to support the team which falls under his/hers responsibility and the clients.

 Responsibilities

 ·         Deliver bar services of exceptional quality that increase customer satisfaction

·         Managing the business aspects of the bar, such as  taking inventory and reordering supplies, ordering purchase, monitoring storage

·         Creating effective stocks

·         Ensure that bar is well staffed and well equiped

·         Setting and enforcing quality and safety controls

·         Working with diverse personalities, influencing positively the people working around him/her

·         Planning and taking part in promotional events

·         Maintaining a fun, safe atmosphere for the clients as well as for the direct team

·         Oversee all operational and administrative aspects of the bar

·         Motivate the team to deliver a seamless and efficient standard of service

·         Enforce and monitor that all operational standards, SOP and quality measures are in place at all times

·         Review and analyze sales to ensure stock rotation and profitability remains within targets

·         Inventory and ordering procedures knowledge

·         Work closely with the Managment team to proactively execute events, promotions and partys.

·         Setting and maintaining standards to ensure the guest experience is effective and hospitable

·         Assist other departments wherever necessary

·         Notify the Management team of any maintenance and repair needs, proactively

·         Perform other duties as requested by the Management team

·         Perform any other task, related to his/hers area of expertise and requested by the authorised person / employer

Requirements

 ·         English Knowledge

·         Working experience in similar role for minimum 2-5 years as a Bar Manager (preferably in beach bars or high-end restaurant)

·         Computer operating skills including MS Office/Excel

·         Effective communication skills and pleasant personality, willing to support colleagues, the managers and the team of him/her

·         Ability to work under pressure in a fast paced environment
