Key Responsibilities of the Airport Representative:
• Ensures the smooth running of the Transportation Department and related areas according to the established concept
statement providing a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times.
• Arranges transportation requirement for guests and other operation departments whenever needed.
• Maintains guest satisfaction and that all employees adhere to policies and procedures as laid out in the operations
manual.
• Attends daily pre-shift briefings and listens to transport requirement, arrival and departures of VIP guests,
functions/event and special attention that is needed.
• Handles guest inquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems if no immediate
solution can be found and ensure follow up with guests.
• Establishes a rapport with guests maintaining good customer relationship.
• Promotes the Hotel Facilities at the Airport and try to up sell Hotel Rooms and Outlets.
• Provides accurate, timely and reliable information and direction to employees, guests and anyone seeking assistance
from the Transportation Department.
• Constantly explore landmarks and points of interest (restaurants, sights, expeditions, etc) in Kuwait and update hotel
data. Ensure updated information is passed on to employees.
• Ensures sufficient drivers are available to accommodate hotel guest’s requirement.
• Ensures the cleanliness and excellent condition of all vehicles by conducting regular inspection on the vehicles, as well
make sure that cars are washed daily.
• Ensures all drivers on duty are in good health condition and drivers that are unfit for driving should be prevented from
driving, in regardless of any business situation.
• Ensures all drivers strictly adhere to all traffic’s rules and regulation and all safety code.
• Coordinates with Transportation Manager additional transportation requirement when instructed by the Director of
Rooms or Assistant Manager Front Office.
• Establishes and maintains good relationship with local authorities in particular the Traffic Police Department or Road
Transports Department, Customs at the airport, Nas Hala Services.
• Book Hala Service for Hotel guests with collaboration with Reservations Department.
• Ensure that all Visas’ are dropped at the Airport Customs Counter before two hours.
• Welcome and escort Hotel guests to our Limousine ensure VIP treatment is well handled.
Requirements of the Airport Representative:
• Hotel experience preferable in 5 star environment
• Minimum two to four years work experience as a member in Transportation or Concierge Department.
• Personal integrity, with the ability to work in an environment that demands excellence
• Experience of working with IT systems on various platforms
• Strong communication skills
