Role Purpose:

This is not just an entry-level position, the Junior IT Specialist is essential to maintaining operational excellence, ensuring compliance, and driving forward our technology initiatives across hotel properties. Without this role, our ability to deliver secure, standardized, and scalable IT services would be compromised.

You will be the first line of defense in IT compliance. This entry-level role is ideal for individuals passionate about IT governance, hospitality systems, and project coordination. You will contribute to audits, asset management, access control, and reporting, while gaining exposure to enterprise-grade tools and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

IT Compliance & Security

  • Monitor and report on hotel compliance with IT security policies, including Deep Security measures.
  • Track and manage End-of-Life (EOL) equipment, including PMS and OS platforms.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly compliance reviews, generate reports, and follow up on non-compliance items.
  • Support SecureTrust (VikingCloud) implementation and reporting.

Hotel Opening Support

  • Participate in monthly meetings and reporting for new hotel openings.
  • Coordinate IT readiness and ensure alignment with RHG standards and SOPs.

IT Audit & Remediation

  • Assist in scheduling and tracking IT audits.
  • Support remediation planning and ensure timely updates on audit findings.
  • Maintain documentation and follow-up logs for audit actions.

IT Standards & SOPs

  • Ensure IT SOPs and standards are current and aligned with RHG guidelines.
  • Support updates and distribution of SOPs across hotel teams.

IT Asset & Access Management

  • Monitor hotel compliance with asset inventory standards using BlueTally.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity in asset records.
  • Support access provisioning for key applications governed centrally.

Project Governance & Request for Assessment (RAF)

  • Track and coordinate RAF submissions for IT engagements.
  • Provide project estimation support and stakeholder updates.
  • Manage internal initiative pipelines and ensure adherence to approval workflows.
Reporting & Dashboarding

  • Support reporting needs for H&IS and RHG using Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, and Power Automate.
  • Maintain dashboards for compliance, project status, and asset tracking.

Job requirements and qualifications:

Location: Madrid

Functional Skills

·        Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Soft Skills

·        Strong communication skills (verbal and written).

·        Customer-oriented mindset with stakeholder engagement capabilities.

·        Critical thinking and problem-solving ability.

·        Change agent attitude with a drive for continuous improvement.

Minimum education:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Hospitality, or related field.

Minimum experience:

0–1 year of experience or internship in IT support or hospitality technology.

Language skills:

Fluent in English (written and spoken); additional languages are a plus.
