Key Responsibilities of the Area Learning & Development Manager:
• Ensure all areas of responsibility for Learning & Development are managed and delivered to the highest levels, ensuring company standards are attained and adhered to. Ensure that trainers are in place at hotel level to support and drive the company L&D landscape and training plan, whilst ensuring compliance with local legislation.
• Working proactively with all key stakeholders and HR business partners to maximize the learning & development experience, delivering a positive and responsive approach to inquiries and training/coaching to problem resolution.
• Develops and implements strategies where key L&D metrics are identified, communicated and delivered, where reports and tracking tools are reviewed and acted upon to ensure that strategies and initiatives are attained or exceeded.
• Working with key stakeholders, effectively managing and reviewing the training life cycle, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance whilst reflecting and promoting the company culture and values.
• Assist ASDHR with L&D budget and training plan, ensures development plans and pieces of training are aligned with guest service, revenue, operational, business objectives, development objectives, and training need analysis.
• Build and maintain an effective working relationship with all key stakeholders and business partners both internal and external ensuring that all communications and L&D activities are undertaken and delivered in a timely manner.
• Partner with the CSO learning team for global initiatives of L & D and ensuring correct and timely roll out of global trainings and ensuring all hotels are implementing new initiatives of training.

Requirements of the Area Learning & Development Manager:
• 2 years of proven experience in a similar role
• French or Arabic is an advantage
• Excellent managerial skills with a hands-on approach and lead-by-example work style
• Commitment to exceptional guest service with a passion for the hospitality industry
• Experienced in using IT systems on various platforms
• Strong communication skills
