Key Responsibilities of Country Director of Sales-France:

  •  Leads the definition of strategic Sales planning and associated initiatives of the assigned geographical Country.
  • Is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy with the objective of generating business expansion and growth within assigned Country portfolio of both Transient and Meeting & Event business and across entire Radisson Hotel Group portfolio.
  • Aims to generate demand, increase market share, strengthen relationships, and drive loyalty from RHG’s global account portfolio in the geographical Country under management.
  • Is responsible for developing and managing all stakeholder relationships, both internal with the other Country Sales Director and external with RHG’s key accounts, key clients, owners and accountable for the performance of the team under direct supervision.
  • Manages proactively a team under the guiding principles set as part of our Sales Value Creation plan, relationships with key accounts (direct and third party), associations with internal stakeholders such as the Senior Vice President of Sales, Area Director of Sales and fellow Country Directors of Sales, hotel GM’s and associated in property sales teams.
  • Improves continuously our way of working including critical thinking around key process improvement, digitalization and automation, customer interaction effectiveness and quality of our team interactions.
  • Part-takes in regular customer forums and in industry trade bodies and panels while representing RHG and developing trusting and respectful business partnerships to drive sales in the supervised geographical Country. 

Requirements of the Country Director of Sales-France:

  • The Country Director of Sales must me characterized by having extremely strong communication skills, being an articulate presenter in both small and larger groups (meetings and on stage) and being up-to-date in regards to industry trends both in the geographical Country under supervision and globally.
  • Over 10 Years work experience in senior Sales roles (MICE/Leisure) for luxury properties. 
  • Outstanding command of written and spoken French and English, additional language welcome.
  • Analytical capability to treat financial data and be able to make strategic and tactical decisions.
  • Ethical behavior and absolute discretion with sensitive information around clients and internal decisions.
  • Ability to provide focus and direction to the Sales team of the specific geographical Country under management (following the “less is more” guideline”).
  • Proactivity in identifying and actioning initiatives required to ensure business growth
  • Strong problem-solving skills, including ability to address any issue in collaboration with others, identify and prevent potential problems and develop problem-solving skills in others.
  • Mentoring capabilities to cascade down Best Practices and ensure overall development.
  • Knowledge on the tourism sector (both at a global level and at a Country-specific level), accounts evolving needs and preferences, other industries potential, competitive environment and strategic approach to address the new reality.
  • Experience working in multi-cultural or international matrix environment.

 

Position:

·       This position is based in our Area Support Office (ASO) in Puteaux (92800)

·       Status : Cadre autonome Niveau V, Echelon 2

·       Business travels are expected for this position
