Description
The Radisson Hotel Group is building its new Digital Experience Center of Excellence in Madrid. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multinational team made of digital experts that aims at transforming the way Radisson engages with guests digitally to make their travel experience special, Every Moment Matters.

Radisson is currently looking for a Digital Content Operations Manager who will be responsible for leading a team of 8 members in charge of on-time delivery of digital content on its multi-lingual global e-commerce RadissonHotels.com and Radisson Hotels app.

The right person for this role:
- Manages the content workflow in principle for the EMEA market (and potentially more regions) while supports global initiatives
- Optimizes and approves content to set the quality standards high and ensure best SEO ranking
- Work towards company objectives to drive online business and improve conversions rates through a better online experience
- Implements localization strategies and ensures that content is optimized for a global audience
- Has strong people skills, and can easily connect and work with anyone
- Is driven, never satisfied with the status quo and always working to get better
- Is digital savvy and passionate about digital, websites and apps
- Has a strong attention to details and seeks quality
- Sets a high bar for him/herself

Mission

The Digital Content Operations Manager at Radisson Hotel Group has the role to lead the team that ensures that RadissonHotels.com and Radisson Hotels app display fresh and high-quality content (both text and visual elements) to help the user making a booking decision. Specifically, the purpose of this role is to:
- Lead the team that creates, revises, edits and publishes content in order to ensure compliance to brand guidelines and superior content quality on the website and app.
- Take full ownership of the requests coming from the Marketing team, Corporate teams and hotels in order to fulfill their requests and bring their content online ensuring the best online experience possible.
- Oversees and advises on all the projects that concern the content team in order to drive online business
Ensuring that what is delivering is quality content .

Team and Stakeholders

The Digital Content Operations Manager will be part of the Digital Experience Center of Excellence Team and will communicate with global teams around the world including:
- Hotel Owners/Operators
- Brand and Marketing Teams
- Digital Marketing and SEO Teams
- Commercial Team
- IT Team
- Vendors

Responsibilities

The Digital Content Operations Manager has the responsibility to:
- Manage the Digital Content team in EMEA (9 resources) and ensure an excellent management of the stakeholders.
- Support global marketing and corporate teams with both B2B and B2C customers.
- Ensure all digital content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality, tone of voice, and optimized for online channels including desktop, mobile and app.
- Partner with global digital teams on the development of a functional content calendar throughout the enterprise verticals, and defining the owners in each pillar, resulting in aligned content to various channels.
- Think strategically to develop a consistent global experience and implement appropriate localization/translation strategies.
- Be an arbiter of best practices in grammar, messaging, writing, and style.
- Establish workflow for requesting, creating, editing, publishing, and retiring content.
- Work with technical teams to ensure CMS and DAM products evolve to industry best practices.
- Work closely with Global Digital Product and Digital Acquisition teams to align all marketing and development initiatives across digital channels.
- Liaise with counterparts in the Americas and APAC offices on content needs and development projects.
- Manage, consult and collaborate on numerous projects to better the online experience.
- Adhere to style guidelines, UX principles, processes, and established standards for quality, scope, and usability of content.
- Ensure content is accurate, functional, relevant and SEO optimized.
- Translate complex processes into simple, clear, end-user focused content solutions.
- Keep current on the latest editorial and user experience techniques and share best-practice examples with team members.

Requirements/Skills

The Digital Content Operations Manager must possess the following requirements and skills:
- Excellent command of written and spoken English is a must
- Bachelor’s degree in business, communications, or related field.
- Minimum of 6+ years of experience in e-commerce and leading teams.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Experience with content for a global audience.
- Ability to set clear goals and quantitatively measure them.
- Knowledge of the e-commerce best practices.
- Skills to gather ideas and feedback from a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to manage vendors.
- Capable of working collaboratively across teams and departments, with minimal supervision.
- High degree of ownership and accountability.
- Balance multiple projects, assignments, and launches simultaneously within a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment.
- Ability to work with technical staff to communicate issues.
- Native English, Chinese, German, Russian or Nordic language is a plus
