WE ARE ON THE LOOK OUT FOR a REDtabulous Sous chef to join the amazing Jones The Grocer team here at Radisson RED


What are we looking for?

▪          Ensure BOH is run to the specified service levels through regular monitoring of operational performance with their teams and other departments

▪          Develop, mentor and manage the CDP and the BOH team. Ensure to conduct their training, development, motivation, and evaluation. Consistently maintain high standards and regularly review BOH staff and provide effective feedback to help improve standards.

▪          Implement specials and menu changes according to agreed recipes and standards. Facilitate training regarding all new items with both FOH and BOH. Ensure all standards are reviewed and maintained.

▪          Responsible for the day-to-day operational costs of the BOH working towards company targets for the stores. Control and improve work force, food cost and all other operational expenditures within the BOH. Formulate action plans to continuously reduce costs and improve efficiencies and report to Area Chef.

▪          Work closely with other departments to promote good teamwork and efficient operations. 

▪          Flexibility in working conditions to include working hours. Dealing with customers can be a highly pressurised job and the person must be able to manage this without compromising service levels. Effectively utilize sound management skills.
