Housekeeping Assistant Manager

We have an exciting new position open for Housekeeping Assistant Manager at The Swan at Streatley Hotel set on the beautiful riverside in Streatley.

About the role:

You must present a positive first impression and an ever-lasting last impression, and you will not only be a friendly face but a friendly voice by supporting the team with managing responsibilities. As a manager of our Housekeeping team you’ll have previous experience in a similar environment. You’ll be passionate about giving a pTo manage all aspects of the housekeeping department and to ensure cleaning and servicing of all bedrooms and public areas including Gym and Events to a high standard of cleanliness throughout the hotel in accordance with hotel standards.

About you:

Like we do… you love an early morning sunrise as much as a beautiful sunset. You’re a hands-on, sleeves up kind of person with a passion for exception customer service, have the ability to undertake the cleaning of bedrooms, bathrooms, Events and public areas to a quality standard.

• To assist in the maintaining of the guest satisfaction score of 4.5 out of 5 through clear and precise bedrooms standards
• To promote a customer-focused culture within the department by leading by example and encouraging in house training
• To ensure adequate staff are on shift to cover the needs of the business in the absence of your Line Manager
• To ensure that all maintenance items are recorded correctly on Reslynx and for any priority items are reported to your Line
• To be responsible for the day to day operations of the department in the absence of your Line Manager
• To report any suspicious incidents, substances, objects or character immediately to your Line Manager
• To complete any reasonable tasks set by your Line Manager
• Provide good service to all internal customers
• To promote the image of the Hotel at all times
