Description
We are looking for a Bartender to join our large front of house team at Rick Stein Barnes.
As Bartender you'll share our passion for great food and drink and you'll play a key role in working behind our bar and supporting the front of house team to offer exceptional customer service.
This is a full time role and the rate of pay is £8.72 per hour (£8.20 if you are under 25), plus a share of service charge.
WHAT YOU’LL BE GETTING UP TO
- Running the bar in an efficient way and processing orders on the till
- Interacting with guests and demonstrating excellent customer care
- Taking food and drink orders and supporting the front of house team when needed
- Effectively communicating with other members of the team including chefs and managers
- Ensuring all areas of the bar are clean and replenished in time for opening and the next service
KEY SKILLS
- Working well as part of a team
- Communicating effectively with colleagues
- Demonstrating strong company and menu knowledge
At Rick Stein Barnes guests can enjoy some of Rick Stein’s most iconic dishes such as the Dover sole a la Meunière and salt and pepper prawns as well as a selection of new dishes including côte de boeuf steak paired with a béarnaise sauce and served with hand cut chips, inspired by his recent Long Weekends adventure to Bordeaux.
