Description
We are seeking applicants that are highly motivated team players with knowledge of food and beverage and must have a positive attitude to excel in a “high-volume rooftop bar” that is fun, and is fast-paced.
Requirements;
2+ year experience in New York City restaurants
Passionate and knowledgeable about food, wine, beer and spirits
Sound understanding of and ability to prepare classic cocktails using proper techniques
Driven, hardworking, enthusiastic, quick-learners
Hospitality oriented; Able to anticipate guests needs
Good communication skills
Ability to multitask in a high volume environment while maintaining service standards, a sense of humor and appearing calm
Impeccable attention to detail, ability to be attentive to guests while also playing a supportive role to front of house staff
Ability to work a flexible schedule when necessary
Contributing to seasonal cocktail development and selection of spirits
Managing and maintaining day-to-day bar operation (prep, order receiving, organization, etc.)
Inventory control and communication of purchasing needs to Beverage Manager
Daily updates and spot education to FOH team in pre-service
Acting as the point person for communication needs and service issues to management staff
