EXCITING NEW OPENING JANUARY 2020

Rockfish are looking for SOUS CHEFS to join our NEW OPENING team at POOLE QUAY, help us fulfil our mission to grow award-winning Rockfish seafood restaurants.

Our founder, restaurateur and food writer, Mitch Tonks is ambassador for MSC UK and his ethos is grounded in sustainability, understanding the importance of safe-guarding fish for future generations and promoting a positive awareness of community and resources. Rockfish has gone one step further and has its own boat which lands all of its catch for Rockfish restaurants and were voted BEST EMPLOYER 2019.

This exciting opportunity is open to Sous Chefs of different specialities and skill sets, with a natural flair for the kitchen.
We would want you to be passionate about seafood and coastal life and are able to share your enthusiasm through amazing service levels. You’ll be consistent, reliable and excited about being part of a happy and supportive team. As a chef, experience is essential. You will be experienced at working in busy kitchens and will be able to work under pressure, you will have good knife skills and be an intuitive person always thinking about what to do next.

As a Sous Chef experience is a definite advantage but not essential. We will train you to work on multiple sections within the Rockfish kitchen, playing your part and giving support to the rest of the kitchen team where and when it's needed.
