Assistant General Manager - ROKA London


ROKA is a collection of contemporary Japanese Robatayaki restaurants. First launched in 2004 in Charlotte Street, our London collection has grown to include venues in Mayfair, Canary Wharf, Aldwych and in total 13 restaurants worldwide. Known for its vibrant atmosphere, high-energy open kitchens, and beautifully crafted dishes, ROKA offers a dynamic dining experience that seamlessly blends contemporary elegance with authentic Japanese flavours. 

 

About the Role

We are looking for a talented and passionate Assistant General Manager to join our team here at ROKA.This is an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment where quality and innovation take center stage. As a ROKA Assistant General Manager, you'll be at the heart of our guest experience. You will create memorable moments, embody our vibrant restaurant energy, and play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards that define us at ROKA. 


Our ideal Assistant General Manager demonstrates: 

  • Previous experience in a similar high-end restaurant as an Assistant General Manager
  • Hand-on and able to inspire the team to deliver exceptional service and standards
  • Oversee daily operations, including team schedule's, service, and guest relationships
  • Provide trainings, constructive feedback and promote a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement
  • Ensure compliance with all food safety and health regulations, maintaining hygiene standards
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with guests, and the wider team to create synergy
  • A keen interest in Japanese cuisine/beverages
