Rosewood Miramar Beach is looking for an Assistant Director of Housekeeping.

The Assistant Director of Housekeeping is responsible for supervising, training and inspecting the performance of assigned dispatcher, house person, room attendant, turndown attendant, public area attendant.

Responsibilities

- Maintain complete knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
- Ensure that standards are maintained at a superior level on a daily basis.
- To be acting Executive Housekeeper when Executive Housekeeper is off the property for a period of time. The Assistant - Housekeeper is to follow the Executive Housekeeper's instruction exactly as has been procedure without exception.
- Trains new supervisors and assists the training of room attendants, house persons and other housekeeping staff.
- Work with laundry personnel and also train them when needed.
- Inspect all public areas daily.
- Personally supervises the cleaning of VIP rooms and when completed informs Executive Housekeeper for inspection.

Qualifications

- Experience: Minimum three years’ experience in a managerial position with a housekeeping department for a luxury or ultra-luxury hotel.
- Education: College Degree preferred.
- Ability to communicate in English and Spanish, preffered
