Artfam is a “one of a kind” business. With its unique ethos, Artfarm has changed people’s expectations of what a restaurant can be. That power has come from a team who at every level share the beliefs, passions and ambitions of its founders, Iwan and Manuela Wirth.

Roth Bar & Grill was Artfarm’s first business, it opened in 2014 with the opening of Hauser & Wirth in Bruton, Somerset. It is a vibrant and welcoming restaurant serving food from the surrounding farm, The award winning restaurant, led by husband and wife team Steve and Jules Horrell works closely with local farmers, producers and gardeners, to use ethical produce with a focus on sustainability.

The restaurant is renowned for its wood fired cooking and now Roth on the Road - an extension of Roth Bar & Grill, offers food cooked over open fire and styling at home or an off-site location.

The role

To be the ultimate host and exceed the expectation of our guest experience in every aspect of their visit so that they leave us feeling enriched and engaged in our ethos.

What success looks like…

·         Guest Service

Create memorable experiences by consistently providing an exceptional guest experience through the delivery of our Standard Operating Procedures ensuring that every guest feels special and wants to return.

·         Communication

Communicate effectively and professionally with guests and all team members, sharing knowledge and ensuring effective handover of information.

·         Atmosphere

Be confident and allow your personality to enhance the atmosphere by creating a warm, homely and welcoming environment to our guests.

·         Sales Opportunities

Positively approach sales opportunities in order to maximise revenue by making informed recommendations based on in-depth knowledge of the menus and using upselling techniques at every appropriate opportunity.

·         Health & Safety

Support a safe working environment by adhering to Health & Safety, Food Hygiene, Fire and Evacuation procedures and Licensing Laws.

·         Training

Take ownership of your personal development enhancing your ability to build knowledge and make informed recommendations.
