Rubirosa Ristorante on Mulberry St in Nolita is looking for a Jr. Sous Chef to join our team!
This position is perfect for a lead line cook looking to take the next step into BOH management, and for someone who is energized by a busy, high-volume restaurant preparing classic, comforting Italian American fair including our famous pizzas, hand-made pastas, and a full menu of delicious and fresh dining options.
You have: a couple years of lead line cook or sous chef experience, or more, and can manage your way around a bilingual kitchen. You’ve had some exposure to expediting, developing seasonal specials, and training line staff and have your DOH Certification. Familiarity with Italian cuisine is a plus.
Most importantly, you thrive in a busy atmosphere where you will work very closely with other BOH and FOH staff - everyone takes care of each other here to ensure a superlative guest experience.
