Rubys NYC is currently seeking an experienced general manager and assistant GM to oversee operations at our New York locations! We are very customer focused and pride ourselves on our friendly, efficient staff, high quality produce in a fun and vibing atmosphere and would love to find management who emulates that.
Responsibilities and Duties
Working closely with supervisors and team members to ensure the best possible customer service is provided to our guests
Delivering genuine customer experiences
Leading by example, professional steps of food and beverage service
Recruiting, hiring, training, and conducting performance evaluation of crew members and supervisors
Ensuring company training programs are being used properly by team members and supervisors
Providing performance feedback and recognition to all supervisors and team members on a consistent basis
Some P&L interpretation experience including P&L, budgets, and cost controls with regard to food, beverage and labor goals
Strong desire to learn and grow with a progressive company
Qualifications and Skills
Has restaurant management experience of at least a year
Is confident with basic troubleshooting
Ability to embody a positive work culture
Can survive and thrive in a fast paced environment
Communicates clearly and effectively to customers and employees in English
Possess the highest form of integrity, trustworthy, and reliable
Ability to work with little to no supervision
Communicate clearly and effectively with guests and team members
Show and provide effective leadership and problem solving skills
