An exciting role has become available within our Harbour Hotels in Devon. We are seeking an HR Administrator to support the teams
at property level and report into the People Manager at our Head Office
in Christchurch.
We are in need of a motivated and confident HR
Administrator who understands hospitality businesses and has a
passion for looking after our people. With previous experience in People/ HR
matters, you will be proficient in administrative duties whilst assisting the
General Managers and their teams presently within our three Devon properties.

This is a part-time, permanent role, potentially with some flexible working by arrangement. Normal hours 20 – 24 over 3 days and the salary advertised would be adjusted pro-rata.
About the role...
As HR Administrator, we will require you to build excellent relationships with our General Managers, the Heads of Departments and team members. You will support the People function by being the ‘go to’ for knowledge of all things surrounding the ‘Harbour Crew Journey’ - this will include supporting:
- Recruitment of Harbour Crew team members
- On boarding and Induction
- Manage intercompany transfer of employees and also leavers
- Implementing and maintaining HR recording and filing
including annual holidays, rotas, absence
- Monitoring training and development
- Use of our HR systems including training,
reviews and communications
- A working knowledge of our Health & Safety
compliance platform and assist with maintaining these records
- Co-ordinating ad hoc training and assist in
maintaining and increasing our apprenticeship programme
- Dealing with HR related queries
- HR casework as necessary
- Maintain and keep up to date with
employment law
- Support the promotion of equality and diversity within the organisation
Experience & Profile...
You will have a passion for hospitality and people, with some experience
in an HR role beyond basic administration. Also the ability to travel between
our locations and working remotely is important. Occasional travel further
afield may be required.
You will be proficient in Microsoft Office and
be a confident speaker.
