Description
We are looking for an experienced full-time Cellar Master to join the Bar team of our fantastic restaurant, Scott’s Restaurant, part of Caprice Holdings.

Based on Mount Street, Scott’s Restaurant has a capacity for 140 covers, an extensive bar area, terrace and 2 stunning private dining spaces. The restaurant is vibrant and glamorous, with high energy, focusing on the finest quality fish and seafood menu, complimented with a creative and extensive wine and cocktail list.

As Cellar Master you will report to the Bar Manager with the key responsibilities being to accept the wine and spirit deliveries ensuring accuracy, effective recording, distribution and storage of all products. You will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of delivery notes and invoices as well as the processing of wine orders as needed. You will also ensure that the storage and cellar areas are kept tidy, stock is effectively rotated and company policies and procedures are followed.

The working hours for this position are: Monday to Friday working 7.30am to 3.30pm each day.

The ideal candidate will:
• Currently be a Cellar Master or Goods Receiver in a busy restaurant, club or hotel environment
• Have knowledge of Fourth Stock System FnB and strong PC skills
• Have previous experience processing delivery notes in high volume establishment
• Have good numeracy skills and be organised and methodical at work
• Enjoy working in a fast paced environment where attention to detail is essential
• Be an excellent team player with a positive and enthusiastic attitude
• A strong command of the English language is essential.
