Seppe Pizza Bar is a fresh, modern and family-friendly take on a neighborhood pizzeria with comfortable, classic touches and a humble, laid-back atmosphere free of formal frills. We’re all about providing our Staten Island community with delicious food, made with high quality ingredients through genuine and excellent service.
We are now seeking Servers to become an integral part of our team!
Candidates must have open availability and able to work lunch, dinner & weekends.
Must have at least 3 years experience working in high volume NYC restaurants and have valid work papers.
Responsibilities:
· Follow checklist procedures for each shift.
· Maintain service station at start of shift.
· Greet all guests in a friendly manner and present them with menus. Share specials, menu changes and make suggestions.
· Answer questions about our menu items & beverage program. Respond to special food requests and dining needs.
· Take food or beverage order from guests.
· Process orders and communicate with all team members to ensure our guests satisfaction with their food and service.
· Serve food and beverages to guests. May require presentation, opening and pouring of wine or beer to guests.
· Clean and prepare the dining areas.
· Be prompt and courteous.
· Perform other restaurant duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
· Minimum 3 years experience working in front of house high volume NYC restaurants.
· Ability to maintain composure and remain positive under pressure.
· Friendly personality with the skills to build trusting relationships with team members and guests.
· Passion for creating memorable moments for all guests.
· Excellent communication skills.
