Resident Ambassador / Chef De Cuisine

Your mission: To achieve the highest level of resident and employee satisfaction across the assigned area by delivering the SI vision of an unparalleled dining experience for residents throughout their vertical communities

Key responsibilities:
Implements and oversees strategies aligned with the overall mission, vision and values of SI.
• Possess an enthusiastic, outgoing personality with a passion for hospitality
• Check food items prior to serving, ensuring proper presentation and temperature in accordance with SI Standards
• Assist in implementing culinary training programs to uphold quality and consistency of all menu items prepared and served
• Display in-depth knowledge of SI app functionality
• Display i-depth knowledge of SI Revel POS system
• Demonstrate general knowledge kitchen/dining operations
• Demonstrate general knowledge of wine, beer and spirits
What you'll need:
• 2-4 years prior experience as a Sous Chef or supervising capacity in a quality volume operation
• Full knowledge of culinary methods, procedures and quality standards
• AOS degree from a culinary school, apprenticeship, or equivalent work experience
• Food Handlers Certificate
• Professional appearance and behavior at all times
• Ability to be detailed oriented with ability to multitask
• Ability to stand and walk at fast pace for the duration of a shift
• Ability to stay positive and calm under pressure
• Comfort level with technology driven solutions and automation

• Strong communication and listening skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule to accommodate business needs
• Fluency in English
