Description
We are looking for an experienced and committed Back of House Manager to join the exceptional team at Sexy Fish, part of Caprice Holdings.

Based on Berkeley Square Sexy Fish has a capacity for up to 190 covers on the ground floor and a stunning private dining space on the lower ground floor. The restaurant is vibrant, glamorous with high energy focusing on the finest quality ingredients to create an Asian inspired menu with a focus on Japan.

As BOH Manager you will support the restaurant management team – Restaurant Director, AGM, RM, Assistant Managers, Bar Manager and Chef Director with all back of house admin duties.

Some of the key tasks for the BOH Manager will be:
• Update the HR & Rota and Payroll system ensuring effective processing of new starter information, holidays, absences, rotas, training, etc
• Arrange work trials and interviews as requested by Senior Chefs and Managers effectively using the recruitment portal and liaising with the HR as required.
• Process finance administration accurately and effectively to include daily sales reports, cashing up, reconciliation sheets and petty cash
• First point of contact for all new starters as well as assisting staff with any enquiries
• Support the Restaurant Management Team and Senior Chefs to ensure health & safety and food safety documentation is kept up to date, filed and updated on the H&S and F&S Portal
• Support the Managers to ensure effective follow up and reporting of AFPs and accident reporting
• Act as note taker at restaurant meetings as requested by the Restaurant Director, AGM or Chef Director
• Complete all office administration as appropriate as requested by the Restaurant Director, AGM and Head Chef
• Organising and overlooking all restaurants PMV’s, certificates, maintenance and engineers, making sure the maintenance portal is up to date, chasing contractors, ensuring all RAMS are updated
• Work closely with the Kitchen and Purchasing Administrator

The successful candidate will:
• Have previous experience of working within the hospitality/restaurant sector, ideally with knowledge of working in front of house.
• Ideally have experience working in a similar role
• Have exceptional administration skills with ability to multi task
• Be a confident communicator with excellent written skills and telephone manner.
• Be a highly effective team player who is well-presented and enthusiastic.
• Be highly organised, have the ability to work to tight timelines and ensure accuracy in all aspects of the role
• Have strong IT skills (Word & Excel) and previous working knowledge of ‘Fourth’ HR system (or similar) and FnB Shop would be an advantage.
