Shukette is a new urban restaurant in Chelsea that draws energy and vitality from a commitment to honoring the seasons and using the products of regional farming. The cuisine is inspired by the Eastern Mediterranean with its vibrant spices and bold flavors. We are seeking an experienced Breadmaker with experience in the preparation of pizza and other flatbreads.
Qualified applicants will have:
At least one year prep experience in a NY making pizza, pita, or other flatbreads
Experience scaling, mixing and portioning doughs
Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and follow recipes
Understanding of how to manage product and ingredients to maintain sanitation standards and practices
Ability to maintain the quality and performance standards of the restaurant
Ability to manage up to 50 pounds without strain
