The role…

We have an exciting opportunity for a Sous Chef to join the Sidmouth Harbour Hotel team.
We are looking for an individual with experience in working within a high volume restaurant and the ability to take control of the kitchen and the team. Serving fresh and the highest quality of food. Working directly with the Head Chef to deliver outstanding quality, vision and consistent service standards. To lead by example and empower the team with further development and achievements.
Experience of pastry skills and experience is desirable.
You will n a need to have a minimum of two years’ experience of working at Junior Sous/Chef de Partie level and be capable of running the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence. Proficiency in achieving FCOS targets and familiarity with current food hygiene legislation including kitchen risk assessments is essential.
