We are looking for an experienced and charismatic Deli Sous Chef to join the team at Sloane Street Deli, part of Caprice Holdings.

Serving an eclectic menu spanning the globe from modern deli dishes, with Pan-Asian influences and American food trends, Sloane Street Deli strives to create an atmosphere where our customers are able to enjoy their meal in a warm and relaxed environment, whilst receiving outstanding service.

As the Deli Sous Chef, we expect you to efficiently help the Head Chef with the running of the Deli, supervising junior chefs and assisting operationally to achieve consistently high-quality service at all times.

What we need from our Deli Sous Chef:
• To understand and champion our levels of customer service and ensure junior chefs are given clear direction and are supervised encouragingly
• To be a good communicator, team player and be able to lead a kitchen team
• A basic knowledge of Fourth Hospitality and/or Star Chef is preferable, being able to input and amend staff rotas, dealing with holiday requests, sickness and basic knowledge of stock management
• Confident with ordering, supplier relationships, stock counts and wastage control
• Great knowledge of compliant Health & Safety/Food Safety policies and procedures with a strong fo-cus on allergy procedures and handling/serving raw food

Deli opening hours are Sunday – Tuesday 9am till 6pm and Wednesday to Saturday 9am till 9pm
(5 shifts over 7 days)
