What does your role bring to the Table?

The Talent Acquisition Manager is a critical role in maintaining and building Snooze’s People First culture by finding and attracting the best talent in the industry. This role will facilitate the full-cycle hiring process, from sourcing candidates to ensuring the onboarding experience is a Snoozy introduction to our company and culture. This person will play a significant role in the future of Snooze. We are seeking a driven and strategic talent expert who is excited about our growth trajectory and committed to getting aces in places. This role will be responsible for refining our Mothershipper, managerial and hourly recruiting processes, leveraging technology, and building Snooze’s employment brand for future growth. You will join a team of people-focused, culture-rich food lovers who are responsible for maintaining a strong culture through growth and expansion.

 

The Position specifics!

Taking on the role of Talent Acquisition Manager isn’t just about bacon and pancakes. The responsibilities of this position include:

  • Guide the full-cycle recruitment process for salaried and hourly management candidates at the restaurant level and technical salaried and hourly roles at our Mothership
  • Source, attract, select, offer, negotiate, and onboard new Snoozers. Positions include: Mothership Support, General Managers, Head Chefs, Assistant General Managers, and Sous Chefs
  • Build hourly recruiting strategies, assess hourly hiring market, and assist restaurant teams in hourly hiring needs in conjunction with Regional Managers
  • Assist in determining staffing levels and wage bands dependent on restaurant needs and assist the People + Culture team in conducting annual compensation surveys
  • Network and build relationships with various organizations and professional industry contacts to build and strengthen talent pipeline and recruitment tools
  • Assist in developing and guiding our employment brand strategy and tactics, including continued improvements of recruitment tools
  • Perform in-person interviews, phone interviews video interviews and working interviews with potential Snoozers at a managerial or hourly level
  • Oversee and guide all New Baby Snooze (NRO) hiring strategies, recruitment planning and training
  • Influence and participate in building advertising, sourcing, and recruiting strategy for all positions
  • Master the applicant tracking system (ATS) by managing the maintenance of job lifecycles, job posts, candidate pools and overall use of tool
  • Understand, prioritize and strategize the hiring needs for our markets
  • Research new tools/trends and innovative approaches to employment branding and talent management
  • Oversee and guide the social media presence of our employment brand alongside Marketing team
  • Partner with Director of People to leverage reporting: Monthly employment dashboard, turnover and retention, time to fill, recruitment tool analytics, referral bonus payouts, etc.
  • Influence and participate in building all operating budgets relative to recruitment strategy/tools and employment brand
  • Collaborate with Regional Managers around accountability measures for all managerial and hourly hiring
  • Inspire, motivate, teach, guide and manage Snooze’s talent acquisition direct reports
  • Collaborate with Sr. Manager of Talent Acquisition to meet all department goals.
  • Other roles and responsibilities required based on team and company initiatives

  • Strong MS Excel knowledge required to perform complex calculations, merge data from multiple tables/sources, and scrub data
  • Knowledge and experience with all social media platforms: LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter
  • Knowledge and experience with job recruiting sites such as Glassdoor, Indeed, Craigslist, Sirvo, Hcareers, CareerBuilder, Snagit, Zip Recruiter, Poached Jobs, Monster and more!
  • Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems such as Harri, Taleo, Workday, iCIMS, TalentReef, Greenhouse, Work pop

 

Let’s talk prerequisites! (Education, credentials, and experience)

  • Bachelor’s degree level education preferred (or other relevant certifications or trainings)
  • 3+ years working directly in the recruitment and talent management field
  • 2+ years of management and team leadership with direct reports
  • Must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience in hospitality or restaurant management role with ownership of interviewing and hiring

  • Must have the stamina to work 40-50 hours per week
  • Required travel of 15% and ability to travel up to 5 days at one time (air, bus, train and weekend travel required)
  • Home base in Denver, CO at the Snooze Mothership (remote working options available)

Denver area base salary range: $75,000-$95,000 per year

The base salary range below represents the low and high end of the Snooze salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Snooze’s total compensation package for employees.
