Spring Place is a new, hospitality driven collaborative workspace concept that connects work, leisure and culture for a select community of thought leaders, entrepreneurs and global creative professionals. Members come together to work and socialize, forging new relationships and partnerships that reshape contemporary culture and industry. At both work and play, Spring Place cultivates a thriving network of makers and enablers.

Spring Place is seeking a skilled barista with high volume experience for the modern Italian restaurant of our members club, as well as production and assistance for Spring Place Catering and Events.

Job Duties Include:
-Training service staff on coffees and coffee grinding and brewing equipment by explaining differences in coffee beans and coffee preparation machines; demonstrating how brewing equipment operates.
-Prepares and sells coffee drinks by following prescribed recipes and preparation techniques for coffee drinks, such as, espresso, macchiato, caffe latte, and cappuccino.
-Generates revenues by building relationships with members; defining new and expanded services and products.
-Maintains inventories by replenishing coffee bean supply; stocking coffee brewing equipment; maintaining supplies
-Keeps equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns; maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance
-Maintains safe and healthy work environment by following organization standards and sanitation regulations.
-Improves quality results by studying, evaluating, and re-designing processes; implementing changes; maintaining and improving the appearance of the store and coffee bar.
-Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading coffee, retail trade, and food service publications; maintaining personal networks.
-Enhances reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
-Assist all service staff if required for all tasks in restaurant and/or bar, catering, when asked.
-May work special events, when needed.
