Description

The post holder will support the delivery of the People plan, providing HR support on a wide range of people-related activities, and work with managers and colleagues across all aspects of the business, including our sister organisation(s) where a service-level agreement is in place 

Length - 6 months FTC with possibilities of going permanent 
Salary - £23,809 
Location - On-site 
Hours -  full-time 37.5 hrs/ wk (hours don't include break)

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES  

  • First point of contact for HR queries for employees and managers  
  • Support the delivery of the people (HR) strategy and processes  
  • Become the subject matter expert for the Recruitment process to ensure seamless onboarding for all new starters.  
  • Own the delivery of Corporate Induction in person, ensuring the induction and supporting material are accurate and up to date  
  • Become the subject matter expert for our HR systems - Harri, ensuring data accuracy within the systems and employee personnel files  
  • Key ownership of HR Data and their related process with regards to At Work and Leaving Work processes  
  • Ensure site compliance with HR activities e.g. probation reviews.  
  • Handle, manage and analyse data where required, for ad-hoc business reporting  
  • Support payroll process with HR information as required  
  • Look for opportunities to continuously improve in-house HR related processes 

PERSON SPECIFICATION  

  • Undergraduate degree in Human Resources or a related course   
  • You should be Level 5 CIPD qualified or studying towards this qualification.  
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills  
  • Excellent organisational skills with a keen eye for attention to detail  
  • Reliable with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.  
  • Knowledge of key employment legislation is essential.   
  • Employee relations experience is desirable.   
  • Recruitment experience is desirable but not necessary  
  • You will be required to utilise various IT/HR software within the business so must be a competent user of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and have the ability and desire to learn new software systems.
