General Manager/ Floor Manager


Description
Busy French restaurant seeks spirited, full charge floor manager
for a fast paced, service oriented dining room, with a demanding clientele.
While this is not a "fine dining" establishment, the service expectations are similar.
Includes weekends, holidays, day shifts & night shifts.

Responsibilities INCLUDE:
# Oversee all aspects of the restaurant operations
# Administrate all matters relating to personnel -- hiring, training, supervising & scheduling
# Responsible for all restaurant receipts
# Ensures that all customer requests and complaints are handled promptly and courteously
# Act as maitre d'hotel to keep fast paced room turning over
# Resolve personnel problems in accordance with established company policies and procedures

Successful Candidate will have:
- High energy level
- Ability to multi-task
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Five years plus experience with the day to day operations of a high end restaurant
- Hands-on strong managerial experience
- Flexible, adaptable nature with strong work ethic
- Strong wine and French foods knowledge
- Experience with catering and party planning
- Willing to work weekends and holidays

Candidate must have longevity in past positions. a minimum of 5 years GM experience is required!
