Description
Bakery Manager
Small bakery is seeking a full-time front of house manager in Queens, NY. The bakery manager will assist the owner with day to day operations, including but not limited to opening and closing, scheduling, inventory, overseeing and training employees and maintain customer service standards.

Job Requirements:
- Leadership skills including ability to inspire and motivate the team.
- Problem solving and trouble shooting skills.
- Candidate should have at least 3 years of experience in F&B management. Must be able to work weekends and Holidays.
- Should have experience with POS systems, QuickBooks, Excel, and inventory skills are a plus.
- Valid NYC Food Safety Certification, ServeSafe or similar food handler’s certification

Duties:
- Works directly with owner to lead daily bakery operations.
- Ensure store and merchandise presentation is consistent and up to standard.
-Management and training of all employees
- Works directly with staff on scheduling to ensure business is always staffed properly.
- Promote and maintain a positive work environment by working side by side with the staff to maintain service standards.
- Reinforces all sanitation, health department standards and safety guidelines.
- Responsible for reports to ownership, payroll, scheduling on a daily and weekly basis.

This is a full-time position. Manager must be flexible to work all shifts as needed which may include morning, evenings and weekends.
