Finance Analyst


Description

The Role:

 

We are looking for a Finance Analyst to support with the monthly management accounts, financial forecasting and budgeting for our corporate functions. In this role you will play a key role in the preparation of the interim and year-end financial statements. To be the successful candidate you will need be an excellent communicator and have the ability to effectively build relationships with stakeholders across the business to manage requests and share insights.

Key Responsibilities


Complete timely monthly management accounts for all relevant corporate functions. To be submitted alongside insightful, engaging commentary and analysis including benchmarking against budget, prior period and key performance metrics

Responsibility and review of all budgeting and forecasting activities and subsequent reporting packs for relevant corporate functions

Complete monthly cash flow and working capital reporting

Assist with the preparation of statutory financial statements for the interim and annual accounts under International Financial Reporting Standards

Assist with the internal review of quarterly balance sheet reconciliations

Respond to audit requests as part of the annual audit process

 Assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns and the annual Corporation Tax Return


Skills & Experience

 

Professional accountancy qualification (ACA, ACCA)

Relevant professional experience

Experience of Retail and/or Manufacturing industries would be beneficial

Experience managing the preparation of consolidated statutory accounts under IFRS would be advantageous

Experience of SAP would be beneficial

Advanced Microsoft Office Skills, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
