Strategy MBA Intern

CAVA can trace its roots back to a single restaurant in Bethesda, Maryland. Today it includes nearly 90 fast-casual Mediterranean restaurants and a line of chef-crafted dips and spreads sold in Whole Foods Markets nationwide. In 2018, CAVA joined with Zoës Kitchen – and together, we’re sharing a passion for bold, craveable meals and exceptional guest experiences with eaters across the country.

From our restaurants to our support center, CAVA team members foster a culture built on five pillars:

The Role:
• Work directly with the CFO on strategy projects most important to the Cava Group
• Collaborate with business leaders and teams across Cava and Zoes Kitchen to work on cross-functional projects touching either one or both the businesses
• Work autonomously and project manage one project e.g., launch of a new initiative across restaurants, over the summer and handle project management and communications for deliverables
• Conduct necessary data analysis and research to inform strategic initiatives and support decision making

The Skills:
• Holds an undergraduate degree and has 2+ years of work experience; currently enrolled in a MBA program
• Collaborative, solutions oriented, helpful attitude, and adaptable to ever-changing demands
• Able to manage large data sets, perform financial analysis, and generate executive ready insights
• Organize project timelines using project management skills to illustrate projects clear deliverables, metrics, and timetables
• Builds, manages and maintains healthy internal partner & client relationships. Encourages cross-functional team members to share, build on, and challenge new ideas or solutions
• Responsive and efficient with an ability to organize and manage multiple deadlines
• Takes responsibility and ownership for own tasks, decisions, and outcomes
• Brings attention to detail and good judgment
• Must have strong Microsoft skills, including Word, Powerpoint, Excel
