Description
CAVA is a culinary brand born out of the desire to share the Mediterranean way of life, bold flavors and innovative experiences in an accessible format. Founded by three first-generation Greek Americans - Ted Xenohristos, Ike Grigoropoulos, and Executive Chef Dimitri Moshovitis - CAVA’s more than 75 locations provide a welcoming fast-casual experience with a fully customizable menu composed of fresh ingredients, made in-house every day. In 2018, CAVA completed the acquisition of Zoes Kitchen - a Plano, Texas-based restaurant with more than 250 restaurants in 20 markets. CAVA’s line of chef-crafted dips and spreads can also be found in Whole Foods and specialty grocery stores nationwide.

We are looking for dynamic go-getter summer interns who can help us drive our business forward. This is real responsibility, real long-term projects, real experience -- and there’s free CAVA, too!

What You’ll Do
■ 1-2 special projects for which you will be responsible for gathering and analyzing information, and developing and communicating recommendations
■ Examples of the specific work may include researching restaurant and consumer trends, interviewing stakeholders, building financial models and forecasts, as well as creating and delivering presentations
■ Present results to senior leadership and implement recommendations in collaboration with cross-functional team members
■ Gain new skills and build on the strengths you bring to CAVA. Interns receive frequent coaching and mentoring from colleagues from across CAVA

Qualifications
■ Currently enrolled in college
■ Strong commitment to excellence and personal and professional growth
■ User knowledge of Microsoft excel and power point
■ Strong record of initiative-taking and leadership in a work setting and/or extracurricular activities
■ Resourceful, intellectually curious, empathetic, poised, high energy and mature
■ Genuine interest in business and find problem-solving exhilarating

Additional Info:
■ This 8-10 week summer internship will be based at our Support Center in Washington, DC and is a paid internship, at $15.00/hour
