Surf is a new play on American cuisine, using all fire. Located at the Urby development, the exterior boasts of modern design – highlighting both the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge and the NYC skyline. The old factory building look of polished cement floors with wood and metal accents throughout, give it an understated elegance – something no other restaurant on Staten Island features. The hearth wood fired grill, at the center of the kitchen, gives off an inviting and relaxed atmosphere, while staying true to its classic cooking methods and seasonally evolving menu. We feature dinner nightly, and brunch on weekends through our two levels of seating with spectacular views, a large outdoor patio and two separate bar areas.

Hosts and hostesses are responsible for greeting guests at the front door, booking and assigning reservations and table assignments, maintaining a wait list, seating guests at the appropriate tables, and communicating with the hostess station as to what is going on on the first or second floor dining rooms at any time.

Applicants should have a full resumé with references and experience. Resy and Opentable experience is a plus.
