Sous Chef

Description

Shepherd Neame is looking for a Sous Chef to join our team, so if you are a proven chef with experience at a senior level and you are looking for a new challenge; this may be just the job for you.

The Swan and Dog is located in the historic village of Great Chart, near Ashford. The street, which is the main road through the village, is a conservation area and most of the properties within it are listed buildings, including the Swan & Dog, which is a timber framed building dating back to the 16th century. Originally named the Swan Inn, the pub was renamed in tribute to the other pub in the village, originally known as the Black Dog.

We know that an excellent Sous Chef is one of the key ingredients to a successful kitchen, so this role will see you supporting your Head Chef, deputising in their absence and assisting with the development of the kitchen team to deliver efficient, high quality food service to our customers.

WHATS IN IT FOR YOU?

  • Competitive hourly pay rate or salary
  • A share of tips in addition to your pay
  • Early wage withdrawal scheme
