Sous Chef

This is a fabulous opportunity to join us as a Sous Chef.

Supporting the Head Chef, you will be a Sous Chef or experienced, established Junior Sous Chef who is ideally already working in a high-end casual or fine dining restaurant environment. You will help the Head Chef manage the day to day operation of the kitchen whilst supervising and developing the brigade. You will ensure the highest standards across all kitchen operations; taking responsibility for the creation of accomplished classic and elegant tapas dishes, ensuring consistent levels of food quality, presentation and customer satisfaction.

Successful candidates will:

- Have previous experience working as a Sous Chef or experienced, established Junior Sous Chef within a quality restaurant environment.
- Be passionate about delivering high quality food and sharing our love of Spanish tapas & drinks with both the team and our customers.
- Have good knowledge of the foods and ingredients of Spain.
- Ensure our high standards of delivering fresh, flavoursome & beautifully presented tapas and engaging & friendly service are exceeded all of the time.
- Have a strong teamwork ethic, who is humble and shows respect for all their colleagues
- Be able to effectively manage, motivate and lead a team and enhance the skill level of the brigade.
- Actively support the Head Chef in controlling budgets, managing Health & Safety and Food Hygiene.
- Proactively work to grow the business.
- Be a clear and concise communicator with the ability to multi -task.
