Description

Summary: Takes food and beverage orders and efficiently delivers items to dining room/lounge/patio guests.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Promptly and warmly greet guests; take food and beverages orders in an efficient manner, follow established steps of service.
Maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards.
Follow up to assist with any additional needs or requests.
Demonstrate complete understanding of menu items and ingredients. Advise guests on appropriate combinations of food and drinks when requested; accommodate reasonable requests and note preferences. As needed, demonstrate knowledge of specialized diets and allergens.
Exhibit exceptional communications skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others. Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff.
Follow proper cash-handling procedures.
Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests.
Promptly address complaints or issues; relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor.
Performs other duties as assigned.
