The Anchor Inn is a true countryside dining pub with bedrooms, private dining room and the perfect place to get away from it all, set in the heart of the Hampshire countryside surrounded by rolling fields.  A quirky place, full of character with a beautiful garden, perfect for whiling away an evening with a glass of wine.


As a Head Chef you are the leader and face of your kitchen. You take pride in the day to day running of the kitchen to creating wow-worthy experiences, it’s all about leading your team, every day.

Our kitchens are busy places so as a Head Chef a level head, a team-led attitude and not being afraid to challenge everything is the key to success.


We're looking for our head chefs to:

·         Have held a senior chef position in a premium pub or restaurant

·         Take pleasure in communicating with guests and team

·         Be proud of using fresh and seasonal produce

·         Motivate their team to work together, leading by example

·         Be organised and get the job done

·         Give a sh*t about the kitchen numbers

·         Have excellent knowledge of HACCP, COSHH and Food Safety


In this role we need someone with:

·         Previous experience at management level in a premium hospitality business

·         A passion for food & drink

·         Good understanding of the importance of financial targets and how to achieve them

·         Their own transport is essential
