Administrative & Operations Intern
The Arts Club - Ops Executive Department

Description
About us
Located in the heart of Mayfair, The Arts Club is one of London’s oldest private members’ clubs and home to a community of members with a passion for the creative arts, literature, and business. From distinguished art exhibitions to fine dining, live music, and an exceptional programme of events for members, the club remains at the heart of contemporary cultural life in London.

About the Role
This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience within one of London’s most prestigious private members’ clubs. As Administrative & Operations Intern, you will support the smooth running of the Club’s daily operations while collaborating closely with key departments such as Operations, Marketing, Music and Membership.

You will work under the guidance of the Director of Operations and provide administrative, organisational, and project coordination support across a range of club activities and initiatives. This role is ideal for a hospitality student seeking to develop practical knowledge of luxury operations management in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
 • Assist the Operations team with day-to-day administrative and coordination tasks.
 • Support communication between departments (Operations, Membership, Marketing, Music and Events) to ensure seamless collaboration.
 • Help organise and execute internal and member events, including logistics and follow-up.
 • Maintain accurate records for operations, training, and compliance documentation.
 • Support the Training Manager with training administration when required.
 • Assist with procurement processes, including raising requisitions and tracking invoices.
 • Coordinate meetings and prepare supporting materials such as reports, agendas, and minutes.
 • Contribute to ongoing projects that enhance member experience and operational efficiency.

 About You
 • Currently studying or recently graduated in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
 • Passionate about hospitality, with a genuine interest in learning about luxury operations and service excellence.
 • Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask effectively.
 • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional demeanour.
 • Positive, proactive, and adaptable — able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Skills & Requirements
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with hospitality systems such as Micros, SevenRooms, or Fourth is advantageous.
• Excellent written and spoken English.

Eligibility: In line with the requirements of the Asylum and Immigration Act 1996, all applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK. Documented evidence of eligibility will be required from candidates as part of the recruitment process.

Due to the high volume of applications, we aren't always able to provide feedback. If you do not hear from us in 2 weeks’ time, please assume you have not been successful. However, don't hesitate to get in touch!

We are an Equal Opportunity Employer. We value diversity and encourage people of all different backgrounds, experiences, abilities and perspectives to apply. However applicants must have the Right to Work in the UK.

Note: Recruitment agencies, we love what you do, but this time we’ve got it covered—so no need to call us. Thanks for understanding!
