Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for an Events set up Team Member to work in our dynamic team at The Belfry, England’s leading Hotel and Resort. After a beautiful refurbishment we now have 319 bedrooms, Rosette standard dining, five food and beverage outlets, fantastic leisure facilities including our 20 treatment rooms & pool and of course, what we are famous for…golf.


Meetings and Events


At The Belfry we have beautiful event spaces. Our comprehensive and stylish meeting facilities comprise of 24 conference and banqueting rooms and can cater for a variety of events from board meetings to a full scale conference or a product launch,. The resort also caters for more leisure based events such as weddings, christenings and birthday celebrations.


The role


Within this role you will be responsible for assisting in setting up events and meetings, ensuring our guests have the very best first impressions and all of their requirements are catered for. This role is between the hours of 6pm and 6am. During this time, you will:

  • Assist the manager in supplying excellent customer care and service.
  • Ensure a thorough hand over is completed to ensure the correct set up carried out.
  • To ensure Conference rooms are set to hotel standard if rooms are not in use then to ensure they are fully cleaned down and left presentable for show rounds.
  • To ensure all storerooms are kept clean and tidy at all times.
  • Ensure all setup details on BEO are carried out and questioned if required.
  • Complete all relevant paperwork in line with hotel policy and procedure.
  • Assist the manager with operation cover if and when required.
  • Assist the team with Room set up, cleaning and stock movement.


About you:


You must poses a positive attitude and be able to provide excellent customer service at all times. Good timekeeping and being capable of working on your own initiative is a must.
