Description
The Bonnie, the best bar in Astoria for creative cocktails, eclectic atmosphere, friendly service, killer brunch and thoughtfully prepared bar food, is looking for an Event Manager to join our team. As small bar and restaurant group based in Manhattan and Queens, we include seven gastropubs founded to service the local community. This is a great opportunity for an individual with a hospitality and event background, looking to join a quickly growing team.

WHO YOU ARE:
- Experience in NYC Hospitality Industry
- Proficient in Microsoft programs
- Excellent verbal and written/digital communication skills
- Basic understanding of Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, and Illustrator
- Warm, Friendly, and Hospitable Disposition
- Team Player with a roll up your sleeves attitude
- Open Availability - including nights and weekends
- Exceptional Organizational Skills & Attention to Detail
- NYC Event Planning Experience
- Experience using TripleSeat preferred

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Handle all aspects booking and executing private events at The Bonnie
- Work closely with management team and chef to oversee the schedule, logistics, staffing and overall success of all events
- Promptly respond to all incoming event inquiries and client follow ups
- Track relevant sales data
- Explore new markets, targeting larger event budgets
- Plan and manage public events such as New Year’s Eve
- Floor management shifts as needed
