Understanding our food


We believe in the magnificence of the bacon roll. It’s the one dish that’s been with us from day 1 and getting it right is ridiculously important to us.  We believe in doing the simple things well, from where we source the ingredients for our menu to making our food fresh on site.

 

Our menu is more varied than the mighty bacon roll but the principle is the same - comfort food. We make warm fuzzy feeling in the pit of your stomach food. We make good food. It’s our take on where the great British caf meets the iconic American Diner. 

 

Where you fit 

 

We’re looking for a Grill Chef who believes in the power of food to make someone’s day. You will assist the Head Chef and Sous Chef with everyday operation, helping to ensure that everything that goes into a plate of food from standards and efficiency to the overall team’s happiness is the greatest it can be. 

 

You need to be as much about people as you are about food and be motivated by the success of the whole team. We want you to work closely together with your Head Chef and Sous Chef to generate a culture of loyalty, positivity and opportunity and recognise the positive impact you can have on someone’s day. 

 

You’ll be comfortable and confident with the responsibilities associated with working in a professional kitchen. Able to work to a process, you’ll have the ability to continually produce high quality food in any environment whilst ensuring that the effort invested by you is profitable.
